woo hoo! we are soooo happy! the vet lady called today and said that Baxter does NOT have cancer!
the vet lady said something about fibrosis mixed cell dermatitis infection thingie. those are a bunch of words and human was so excited that she maybe didn't write them down right. she did get the NO CANCER part right though!
sweet Baxter still has a wound on his toe where the vet operated on him, so he still has to heal from that. he's gonna get some pills too. he will get his stiches out and his bandaid off in about another 10 days or so. until then, human gave him this special sock to wear over his bandage. he has sexy legs, doesn't he?!
these are some photos taken in our back yard about 2 weeks ago. human says we need to do some yard work as soon as Baxter is able to hang out in the yard again. right now he has to stay inside as much as possible to keep his bandage dry and help his wound to heal.
there is a rumor that my little buddy and i don't have any eyes. well i'm here to tell you that rumor is totally false. and here is the photo to prove it. heehee!
you'll have to excuse my silly schnoodle humor. we're all just giddy with the happy news about Baxter.

Lulu and I missed the post about Baxter's poorly toe so we are rather shocked to hear it might have been cancer and we are so relieved that it is not.
