the human took us to get our photos taken with santa paws. we planned for this for an eternity and got all ready and were there early and ready to look our best. this is the sad result. human was not pleased with this photo. of course we look handsome, but where are we all? all you can see of Benson is his collar and his teeth. Walter looks so tiny. poor little Walter.
the human wanted to have Walter get his photo done individually with santa paws and this is another disappointing result.
oh sure, santa looks great, but poor Walter doesn't look too comfortable or happy. we had been hoping to make a holiday card with these photos, but that isn't going to happen.
i guess we'll have to try again next year.

Hmmm... I agree that Walter doesn't look so happy in the second photo, but I don't see anything wrong with the first one. Every computer monitor displays things differently, but on my screen I can clearly see all the details of Benson (including the texture of his black coat) and the other four Bs. So, I think it would make a great holiday card. If you're concerned about it being too dark though, it would be easy to lighten it up a bit with pretty much any photo editing software.
P.S. Please consider getting rid of the Word Verification feature on your blog.

We like the Santa Paws photos anyway. You boys are so handsome, We don't know if you can have a bad photo. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and hoping Baxter gets well with his foot soon. And that is turns out to not be TOO bad. Yup it;s me Ernie and Vet said I partially tore my ACL on top of that he said I had arthur itis visiting my hips. I "get" to go see him again Wed and see what surgery they suggest... Scary.

Hi 5B's. Well your mom is kind of right about Benson. They should have used more light. We're kind of familiar with all that because we're mostly an all black fur family (not my mom and dad though). But you know what, one day that photo with all of you will become a treasured memory so it's not such a bad photo after all is it "P"? We think that you should have had your mom in it.
I think it's a superb photo - you're all looking very handsome AND looking towards the camera at the same time - marvellous !!
